Seán Ryan

With 35 years hands on experience, Seán is fully versed in many areas of Law. He is an Expert in Compulsory Purchase Conveyancing, Acquisitions, Easements and Part V Agreements under the Planning and Development Acts. He has many years experience in Planning Enforcement (District, Circuit and High Courts) and Building Control Enforcement. He is also experienced in both Plaintiff and Defendant work in Civil Litigation* generally (Public, Employers and General Liability Claims) and is well acquainted and experienced in the area of Judicial Review. Seán’s conveyancing skills have resulted in having established and administered schemes dealing with the Acquisitions of Houses, Apartments and Land under Part V of the Planning and Development Acts ,together with Disposals of Houses and Apartments to Affordable Purchasers.

Seán is a native fluent Irish speaker and has and MA (Honours) Translation Studies and Applied Linguistic Skills in Irish, and has experience in conducting legal business through Irish.

Seán is originally from Drogheda, County Louth and lived for many years in the Ráth Cairn Gaeltacht in County Meath but now lives in Virginia, County Cavan with his wife and two daughters. Seán is very active in the promotion of Irish and uses his legal skills to further this cause. In his spare time he plays the Mandolin, Fiddle and enjoys hill walking.

Paul is our Accounts Manager and IT specialist and has been our in-house Accountant since 2000. He achieved a B.A. (Hons) in Business Management and Accounting in 2009 and is a member of ILAI (the Institute of Legal Accountants of Ireland).

Paul also has experience in Conveyancing and Debt collection.
