Rory G. McEntee - Senior Partner

Qualifications: BCL, (U.C.D.),

                         Admitted to the Law Society 1974

Rory is the Firm's Senior Partner and specialises in Local Authority and Regulatory Law.  Rory is the Law Agent to a number of local authorities and other public bodies. His advices include general Corporate advice, advice on Planning and Environmental matters, Property Acquisitions, Public Procurement, Compulsory Purchases etc. He has also advised re Pre-School services and Food Hygiene matters and has been involved in numerous high profile and groundbreaking cases. 

Rory is a former Chairman of the Law Society Conveyancing Committee and a former member of the Law Reform Commission Advisory Committee on Conveyancing and the Land Registry Rules Committee.  He is a co-author of a Book on Farm Family Partnerships and has delivered many lectures in Conveyancing matters.  He has been called as an expert witness in a number of cases dealing with Conveyancing matters.

Rory is from a well known family in Kells, County Meath and was born and has lived all this life in Kells.  Rory is married, has five children and in his younger days was an accomplished athlete. He is currently trying to come to terms with Golf.
